Oh Seong-eun is a novelist, essayist, and creative artist whose work spans literature, music, and film. He is the author of several acclaimed books, including the novels <Black Inferno> (2025, based on an original idea by Yeon Sang-ho & Ryu Yong-jae), <There Is No Las Palmas> (2023), and <With the Will to Be> (2022), as well as essay collections such as <Things with Speed Are Sad> (2021) and <Awakening Twice in the Face of Love> (2020). In addition to his literary achievements, he has written, composed, and performed original songs, and directed independent films including <Gaze> (2021) and <Scent> (2008).

He holds a Ph.D. in Creative Writing and is a Professor in the Department of Media Content Creation at Semyung University. Beyond academia, he serves as a Content Programmer for the Korea International Ocean Film Festival (KIOFF), and has been active as a publishing editor and broadcaster. His diverse career reflects a deep commitment to storytelling across literature, music, film, and media.
